  • Friday, June 20
    • 4:30PM Free concert at Riverfront Park (across fro Big River Restaurant)
  • Sunday, June 22
    • 10:15AM Performance for Sunday Service - First Congregational Church
    • 2:00-4:00PM Dress rehersal at First Pres Church
    • 7:00PM Farewell Concert with Chintimini musicians ($10, reception follows)

  • Wednesday, June 25 (L) - Departure Day!
    • 8:30AM Depart Corvallis via charter bus
    • 1:20 PM Flight departs Portland Airport via Frankfort (2.5 hr layover)
  • Thursday, June 26 (L) - Milan & Cremona
  • Friday, June 27 (L) - Cremona
    • Late breakfast in hotel. Morning to recover and rest. Late morning group walk and lunch.
    • 2:00PM Visit Stradivari museum and Palazzo Comunale. Gelato!
    • 6:00PM Dinner in hotel.
    • 7:00-8:30PM Evening rehearsal and private practice
  • Saturday, June 28 (D) - Cremona & Montecatini Concert #1 Lucca
    • 8:00AM Breakfast in hotel - pack and check out
    • 9:30AM Transfer to Montecatini (map)
    • 12:00PM Check-in & lunch in hotel (see hotel contact info), Free time/45 minute private practice. (DB & cello delivered)
    • 3:00PM Transfer to Lucca (map)
    • 3:30PM Estimated arrival in Lucca (map). Take your instruments and concert clothes in the Sacresty of Church San Giovanni.
    • 4:00-6:00PM Bike ride around old city walls
    • 6:30 PM Dinner own arrangements - Your first Italian Trattoria!
    • 8.15 PM Set up and sound check
    • 9:30 PM CONCERT #1 Lucca Chiesa San Giovanni
    • 10.45PM back to Montecatini (map)
  • Sunday, June 29 (L) Pisa & Concert #2 Montecatini Terme Tettuccio
    • 9:00AM Late breakfast in hotel.
    • 10.30AM Bus to Pisa (map) (65 km)
    • 11.30AM Estimated arrival in Pisa (map). Lunch on own
    • Walking tour Piazza dei Miracoli (Leaning Tower) to the historical Center Piazza dei Cavalieri
    • 3:00PM Back to Montecatini (map)
    • 4.00PM Estimated arrival in Montecatini (map) - free time for practice and rest, swimming, laundry
    • 6:30PM Dinner in hotel
    • 7.30PM Enter the Terme Tettuccio for set up and rehearsal (hotel is across street)
    • 9:15PM Concert #2 Montecatini Terme Tettuccio (map)
  • Monday, June 30 (L) Contona, Lake Trasimenu, & Assisi
    • 8:00AM Breakfast.
    • 9:00AM Bus leaves for a day in southern Tuscany
    • 11:00AM Visit Cortona (map) (Under the Tuscan Sun)
    • 1:00PM Visit Passignano on Lake Trasimeno for a light lunch on the lake beach and a walk in the natural park
    • 3.00PM Afternoon in Assisi (map). Visit Basilica (Home of St Francis) Gelato!
    • 5:30PM Bus loads for return to Montecatini (224 km). Arrive 7:30PM
    • 8.30PM Dinner in hotel. Possible visit to the old city (ride funicular)
  • Tuesday, July 1 (L) Sienna, San Gimignano, & Concert #3
    • 8:00AM Early breakfast in hotel.
    • 9:00-10:45AM Rehearsal with Vuurvogel Dutch Orchestra in Hotel du Park
    • 11:00AM Bus to Siena (map) (approximately 120km). Free time to explore Italy's most beautiful city. Lunch on own - find the best deli or trattoria in Siena. Gelato!
    • 4:00PM Bus to San Gimignano (map) - explore this wonderful hill town of towers.
    • 7:00PM Group dinner Restaurant Mandragola
    • Chamber music in Piazza
    • CONCERT #3 San Gimignano (map) - Piazza de Duomo - outdoor concert. Shared Concert with the Dutch Youth Orchestra. Gelato!
    • 11:30PM Return to hotel.
  • Wednesday, July 2 (D) Florence (The City of Art!)
    • 9:00AM Breakfast in hotel - Free morning (shopping, swimming, laundry)
    • 12:00PM Bus to Florence (map) for sight-seeing. Packed lunch - Free time in the Piazza della Signoria. Possibly meet Florence Mayor and delivery of Pastega gift.
    • 3:30PM Guided tour to Accademia to see the David. Florence (map) tour.
    • 7:30PM Dinner at Florence Trattoria of your choice
    • 9:00PM Attend Festival concert (Ensemble San Felice) in Florence at Chiesa di Santo Stefano
    • 11:30PM Return to hotel.
  • Thursday, July 3 (D?) Volterra, Reggello Historic Tuscan Hill Towns, & Concert #4
    • 9:00AM Breakfast in hotel
    • 10:00AM Rehearsal in hotel
    • 11:30AM Bus leaves for sight-seeing in Volterra. Gelato!
    • 1:00PM Picnic lunch (packed from hotel)
    • 3:30PM Bus to Reggello (map) (105 km) - a very small Tuscan hill town.
    • 5.00PM Brief afternoon rehearsal in church.
    • 6.00PM Chamber music in piazza.
    • 7:00PM Group dinner - Tuscan hillside picnic TBA
    • 9:00PM CONCERT #4 Reggello (map) Chiesa de Pieve - 14th century simple church
    • 11:00PM Return to hotel - Last night entire group together
  • Friday, July 4 Florence - The Final Concert!
  • Friday, July 5 Cinque Terre & Milano
  • Sunday, July 6
    • 4:00AM Checkout of hotel airport. Breakfast boxes.
    • 6:30AM Flight leaves from Milan airport.
    • 11:25AM Arrive Portland Airport (Parents - please meet students at PDX; check the Camerata blog for any info on late or missed flights)
